Andy Gray was born and raised in Austin, likes to tell people that he was raised by dogs for 3o years and has been fortunate enough to train them for the past 11 years in the Austin area. He founded Austin Area Dog Training after finding no viable options to help train his Norwegian Elkhound, Kaja, as a Therapy Dog. Together Kaja and Andy visited nursing homes, schools, hospitals, libraries and the Ronald McDonald House. Over time Andy saw the need for a dog care facility and sought to make it happen. All Fur Dogs is that dream realized. When not working with clients’ dogs Andy enjoys spending time with his two Norwegian Elkhounds Syja and Skaoi. He has volunteered his time with a number of dog rescue groups, helping to train, transport, and foster dogs in need. In his free time he enjoys talking hockey and watching movies. He’s beyond excited to bring this new venture to Austin.
